SIMEST is transferred to SACE. Together they set up the export and internationalisation hub.

SACE and its subsidiaries and SIMEST join the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group.

SACE FCT is set up to operate in the factoring sector.

2008

SACE Surety, new name given to the former Assedile, becomes part of SACE BT.

2007

SACE SRV is set up with the aim of managing the acquisition of business information.

2005

SACE BT acquires from SMABTP, a French insurance company, 70% of Assedile, which specialises in the business of securities and construction risks.

2004

SACE is set up as a joint stock company, 100% controlled by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and joins the short-term credit insurance market with the establishment of SACE BT.

1998

SACE is transformed into the “Institute for Insurance Services of Foreign Trade”

1990

SIMEST is created. Law no. 100 sets up SIMEST Spa, with the aim of promoting the international expansion of Italian companies through capital investment, with technical and financial support.
